TRANSITIONS WORKSHOP

At Bridgnorth Youth & Schools Project, we believe in journeying with young people throughout their entire education journey. Our Moving Up workshop is a one-hour, interactive session designed to support Year 6 students as they prepare to move from primary to secondary school.

This free workshop is packed with fun, reflection, and real-life insight to help pupils feel more confident about the transition ahead.

What’s included?
🟢 Reflective Game – Two Truths and a Lie:
Students hear short stories from our team’s own experiences of starting secondary school and guess which are true! It’s a fun way to explore expectations and nerves in a safe and honest space.

🟢 Group Discussion:
Together, students reflect on their time at primary school and talk about their hopes and worries for what comes next.

🟢 Inspiring Video:
A brand-new video featuring young people who moved up to secondary school last year – sharing their experiences, surprises, and tips.

To book a team member to come and deliver the Moving Up workshop for your year 6 class, please use the form below. These workshops are generally delivered in the Summer Term around the end of June.
